Hey Guy's, i'm going to be making an offer today for a client on one of their cars today based on some basic searches(autocheck etc.,) as well what you guys have to say about them.

They have a 2001 Diablo that a client likes but however on the intial searches it shows up as a possible ex-rental from Vegas which as everyone knows is a huge red flag.

Fox Valley is only ten minutes away and from my intial phone call last week the manager said he would bring it there for an inspection which of course is a must.

But I wanted to hear what you guy's have to say about them? any experiences good or bad are welcome.

    Thanks in Advance!

I had a decent experience with them.

My 2 brothers and I purchased a convertible Vette for our dad from them.

The car was immaculate, and because we were suprising our dad with it - they offered to transport it in an enclosed trailor at 9pm on a Sunday night.

All things went smooth, and dad has never been happier.

Nothing negative to say about the dealer at all.

    James,

I dealt with D & M a few times and I have to say that they are one of the best people I ever dealt with in the classic and exotic car market. They are strait shooters and are not overly pushy to get your business. Every thing they promised came true. Mike, the owner is a nice guy and his late father was just as wonderful to deal with. I hope you have a similar experience as I had. They also do a good amount of business on Ebay, so check out their ratings there.

    Good Luck,

    Gene

What Geno said. I purchased my 308 from them and would not hesitate to give them repeat business. Mike senior's pasing was tragic. Make sure you deal with Mike junior, his uncle (Mike senior's twin) or the finance guy (can't remember his name).

Years ago when looking for my 308, I called D &M as they had what I was looking for.
I called and chatted up the sales guy for quite awhile about the car, and told him I'd come to see it the next day.

drove an hour to see the car the next day... its stuck in the show room. They WOULD NOT take the car out of the show room. Asked me if I was going to buy the car that day.... high pressure sales pitch, several guys swirling around. Also, the belts had not been done in NINE YEARS. They claimed the belts on Ferrari's do not need to be changed... on and on and on.....

here's one guy that had a TERRIBLE experience with them.

also, Fox Valley moved, they are quite a bit farther away from D&M now.
