Mileage is up there, says recent service. I like the car but am concerned about the miles and price seems high? 1999 Used Ferrari F355 GTS F1 at Ferrari Maserati of Central New Jersey Serving New York, NYC, Manhattan, NJ, IID 9877043
You're concerned about 26k miles? I'd be more concerned with less. How many F1 GTS cars do you think are out there? That said, for $65k they'd better fix the interior. Leather is pulling on the airbag a little, the vent is broken, and the seat looks like it could use some cleaning and a touch up on the bolster. I don't know how much you'll be able to deal on it as there just aren't that many out there, let alone for sale.
The leather is shrinking above the center vents as you can see the yellow plastic under dash starting to show. 26,000 miles is not a bad thing, as it was properly used and can be used as a bargaining tool.
What's with the A/C controls? It looks like the whole module has collapsed into the center console. That's not a cheap thing to replace. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
What's the deal with the pictures being from Scottsdale Ferrari? That is my local dealer. Is the NJ dealer another one of Penske's locations that they may have sent the car to? Just thought it was strange it was two dealers on either side of the USA. In any case if it is Penske they are always on the high side price wise and not willing to deal much because they feel it is a privilege to do business at their store.
I was thinking that same thing.. I went and looked at this car when it was at Scottsdale Ferrari and the dash is shot! What you don't see is under the paper on the dash by the instrument pod the leather is totally torn/shrunk up. I found it funny that they put their spec sheet right over that spot.
Um... Condition Report Excellent Interior Excellent Carpets Excellent Seats Excellent Dashboard Excellent Panels / Headliner Excellent Exterior Excellent Original Paint Excellent Trim Condition Excellent Glass Condition No Visible Rust No Known Accidents No Known Bodywork Fully Detailed
That definitely looks like the same car that Scottsdale had. It was a ROACH for that much money. They said it was a consignment car when I looked at it. The interior was far from good.
No disrespect, I just think the challenge grills are not as clean looking on most colors. Overrated IMHO.
Was this car at the Dealership in January? If so I saw it while i was out there for the Barret Jackson / RM / Gooding auctions. if it is....be prepared. That car needed some serious work. Perhaps they cleaned it up.
This car is a 50 something car. And if any color 355 looks good with the challenge grill, its the yellow. Without it the back end looks blank. The black accent on the yellow is a beautiful contrast. Looks even better with the black carbon challenge wing.
That's a joke, right? LOL...a giallo 355 NEEDS a challenge grill for contrast, waay too much yellow happening otherwise.
I've seen this car and would recommend an ENTIRE interior redo. It did inspire me to consider a yellow car - and I eventually bought one. Robb
