Can you guys think of any questions one would want to ask about this car if they were looking to buy to it aside from the normal questions anyone would ask? I'm speaking of issue unique to 360s, maybe this particular model year ect. I just don't know enough about 360s to know what to ask. Also if anyone knows of this car personally and could PM me some info about it I would really appreciate it. I know these posts can be annoying but I need this information fast and I didn't know what else to do. Thanks for all the help!

    Best,
    Bill

Yeah, I would ask the question why they are asking 160k for a car which is worth significantly less then that? Unless you are absolutely in love with that color (haven't seen it before) I would suggest you keep looking...you can find a similar car for less.....

The listing says the car is a manual, not an F1.

It's overpriced... You can find one better in a less price.

    Good Luck :).

Are you looking only for that color blue? 140-145 is a good price for that car, but I doubt they will drop the price that much....

Whatever 360 spider you choose, and BTW these blues are all superb looking cars with well appointed interiors, I agree are overpriced for the current market. However apart from all the normal questions including full and up to date service records you may still find issues that can cost a pretty penny. For instance when I bought mine last december with 7700 miles in an 01 model, in a month the rams of the convertible started leaking hydrollic fluid. The rams are 1K each and can not be repaired. The entire bill was about 3K. Since these low mile garage queens are rarely driven, the seals go dry and when you actually put them to frequent use like I do, some of these issues will surface. Must get a comprehensive PPI before purchase. Nevertheless get ready for some repair bills even then. I would keep atleast 10K aside for unforeseen issues and perhaps some upgrades. Good luck. Hunting is half the fun.So do not rush and take your time. The dealers dont have a long line of customers waiting to buy these cars these days. Negotiate and Enjoy, Adil.

price is a little high, you can go with a 99 or 00 or 01 if campaigns are done as there all the same, save some cash as the 360 is only getting older and will only continue to drop in price

I suggest you look around a little more as there will be cars that will pop up and you might change your color preference

I agree price is high. I have an 02 360 f1 spider (mine is not for sale) in red/tan with daytonas, shields and all other options, mine has 18K miles now and I have seen several listed just like mine for low 140s and high 130s. While the ones you are checking out have less miles, the color is less desired by most and usually off color cars do not get a premium, so the off color sort of offsets the lower miles you are seeking so I would say low 140s might be a good price on an 02.

I really like the color combo and it has low miles....also a plus 2002's are also sorted in terms of most campaigns....another plus. Agree the price is High but it is only an asking price and does not seem crazy high as such. I would think if it is clean, no stories and up to date on services then it can be had for 150k-ish.

My only concern is the thing I like most....the color combo...I love it but not sure how it would do on resale....having said this if you can get if for the right money and you like it Buy it Buy it Buy it!!

I think the new generation of F car owners are moving away from the Red/Tan to an array of different colors. I think it is particularly true for the 360s/430s simply because the shape of the new F cars makes the non traditional colors look as attractive if not more. Older F cars surely looked the best in the three primary colors ( red/yellow/black). This is not true any more with the newer F cars. Even tones of silver/gray are so appealing.
Look at some of the recent threads on new 430s in silver/gray shades. Its changing folks because many prospective owners are getting bored with reds and reds and reds. Adil.

Really? $160k is high for a 360 Spider?

I saw a Modena for sale for around $150k... so if the Spider is worth $140 or less, what is the price range of a decent 360 Modena these days?

    Thanks,
    ~shahedc

It depends on the year and options. An 01 / 02 modena is ranging b/w 105 - 115. Later models may run 10K higher but no more than that. Adil.
