I owned a 1997 Argento Nurburgring 355B and this looks to be the same colour on my computer. FWIW, I am pretty sure that Grigio Titanio was not offered until 1998.

Silver F355 was my pick when looking for cars but decided to get a 550 instead.

I Love the color combo. Emailed them after the last auction didn't meet the reserve with a list of questions. Didn't reply until the 2nd request with "call to discuss". Spoke to Curtis in sales who said to call Len, the owner. Left him 2 messages with no reply. My list of questions from my email must have turned them off...

I emailed Len about the valve guides too. His response to me was that it wasn't a required service and that I should listen to "real Ferrari owners and not Ferrari gossip spreaders".

Here was my original email. Maybe I was too forward???? Haha

    Hi,

I'm interested in getting some more information about the 1995 F355 that you have for sale. Your eBay ad stated that a major service was done.

    1. Who performed the service.
    2. Was it the 30K service with timing belt? Clutch replaced? Any valve guide issues or replacements. Cats or header issues or replacements?
    3. Can you verify the exterior color paint code.
    4. Any repaints or repairs.
    5. Does everything work, electricals, AC etc?

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards,

    Ray Chau

    Those are legitimate questions.

In the past, everytime time I had a question, he emailed promptly.

I noticed that Ferrarichat guys seem to prefer Autocheck over carfax. Is there any reason?

On topic: I seem to remember that silver car being sold, but later relisted on ebay. Seems to happen a lot.

FYI. Some quick math shows that 81% off all Ferraris listed on ebay do not meet reserve. 9% are technically sold, but many of these fall through.

For me it's convenience - nothing more. It's a mouse click away on all cars listed on Ebay and you can buy 10 reports for $15. Pretty cheap if your browsing Ebay alot - like I have been lately.

I think theyre all worthless (Carfax, etc). They can only report what is reported. We get cars here all the time that are obvious accident/paint work cars with clean reports.

As for that 355, i saw the auctions and the old thread. I think the exterior is gorgeous. The red interior I dont care for. Also, I couldnt stand driving a Ferrari like that with a hard top. Id go outta my mind. Im a rag top man all the way!

I agree that a car repaired for cash won't show up with an accident report, but title changes do. And I have seen salvage titles listed on great looking cars. I was looking at a car last week advertised as one of a golf pro's private collection. Turns out there were 2 Salvage title entries and multiple owners.

The reports might not be perfect but for $1.50 each I don't think they hurt - particularly when trying to verify a "one owner" car and/or where the car has been.

That's definitely argento nurburgring, not grigio titanio. Aside from the ghetto stereo install and lame wheels, it looks great and seems to be priced just right. I'd worry about a seller who can't tell you anything about the car though, especially the right color...
