I know very little about these things. My buddy dropped it off with about a dozen cartons filled with parts...I have a 250 to put into it. Can't wait to get it running...
I've wanted one for the longest time since they came to this site of the pond, and the 2010 Griso 8V is the one to get. The regular Griso is 'only' 1100cc. But the 8V has better sorted electronics and is a little more comfortable to me. It's very smooth. They're not like fast sportbikes, but they handle well, and you can actually still toss them around turns. It gets a lot of looks, and in this town of fancy Ducatis and Triumphs and R1s, I rarely see another Guzzi. Not my pic, but you get the idea.
Looks like a Triumph Thunderbird, a 650 twin. Nice too! Here is a picture of a '57 Thunderbird. Shiny Side Up! Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login
In their days Lambrettas were HOT!! They were the hot rod of the scooters in Italy and could outhandle the Vespas due to the better placement of the engine and transmission and their double fork. I am not sure why they went out of business in Italy, although they are still being produced in India, as far as I know.
Yes, the 8 valve was the one I was looking at, then the only dealer in this area closed down and now the nearest one is 1 hr away.

Ducati 851. Original paint, even still have the original warning stickers in place. Very few mods (fan switch, exhaust cans, ECU, K&N, braided brake lines). You don't see too many of these around today. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have a black 1150RT, never a problem. So strong, especially in bad weather. Enjoy. I hope it gives years of trouble free riding, like mine.
Yes it has all the options (no Navi yet) . It rides like a dream...can't wait to take her out for a real good run.. Thanks,

I regret to announce... I sold my beloved zx-10r. A friend of mine totalled his r1 last month on I-95 and told me he wanted my bike. He made an offer I couldnt refuse, so I let her go. He owned the 10r for about 3-4 weeks and was rear-ended at a light in town (by a lifted f-250) TOTALLED. Worst/best part is, he'll probably get a nice settlement and be on a new s1000rr before I know it. (Good is I'll be able to ride it at will, Bad is it will probably only be around for a couple months before it's totalled as well) Sigh.
Me and the CBR at Loudon last month. Really liked the new pirellis. The knee sliders are new Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, since they just totaled my VX800, that's a good question... what will I ride. Do I look for another bike? Buy back the VX (totaled from hail damage) and fix it up? Buy it back, part it out, and use all the proceeds for something else? Use them to get my Bonneville back on the road? Decisions, decisions... Shiny Side Up! Bill
