I finalised my spec and gave it to the (UK) dealer. He produced a quote showing the basic price plus all the options seperately detailed. The price was exactly as I had calculated so I paid the deposit. The dealer has now confirmed a May build date, but when I asked about a Ferrari sales doc showing all the options as originally quoted the sales guy told me that no further documentation is normal until the final payment is required. Darn strange, I would have thought that Ferrari would have confirmed the build with a detailed build doc to avoid any chance of a mistake. Can one of you knowledgeable guys tell me if this is the normal course of events.

I received a printed document with everything on it that I had to sign off on (the point of no changes can be made) before the order was finalized/accepted into the Ferrari system (status 10 or 10 red). This was, as I recall, a month or two after I initially paid my deposit.
