What DON'T you like about your 360?

I don't like that, if I disarm the system with my key, wait a minute, then try to start the car, absolutely nothing happens when I turn the key, with no indication whatsoever what is wrong. I don't like that, if I try to start the car in gear with the clutch out, the car will start up and launch. I almost hit a concrete pillar one morning. I hate the way the exhaust dribbles on the bottom of each side of the back bumper. That carbon residue is not easy to get off.
I hate it when cute, braless girls pull up to me when I'm driving, and lift their tops up for me. Yeah, I really hate that.

 

I don't like that the car doesn't have cruise control. But, that's not just common to the 360 in the Ferrari lineup.

 

Did you just move to the area?

 

The doors are very long so ingress and egress can be difficult if someone parks anywhere near you. Then again, I wouldn't change the design to fix this so I will live with it.

I don't like:

- The heat that the muffler transfers to the engine lid.
- The stereo.
- The way the alarm operates...mainly the ignition cut out that automatically kicks in.
- The lack of a spare.
- The low front (I wish it had air raising suspension).
- The way we have to check the oil (my Porsche had a dry sump, and the car didn't have to be running)
- The issues with shrinking dashes and sticky buttons (thankfully I don't have any of these issues....yet)

 

Don't forget the feathering of the clutch on starting off in first....should be more like either an automatic or dual clutch.....that's my only gripe really.

 

My single biggest gripe is the poor finish on random parts. The silver paint on the ignition key that flakes off. The plastic interior parts that become gooy and sticky. The red wrinkle finish on the engine that chips.

The other things about how the car operates are just Italian charm.

 

I can't stand how it makes all my other cars just... meh. Alarm could have been a better unit.

 

The interior clock, looks like an after thought.....

Yea, the cats do put a lot of heat on the transaxle. That is why we have to change gear oil every year.

 

I don't like the ..uhm....

I don't like that my 360 is up north tucked away for the winter and I can't see it.

Next year - garage cam!

 

You could be starting the F1 vs. manual debate too...

 

*The alarm remote distance: more than 5 feet away from the car, and won't work;
*Brake pad dust on wheels;
*Engine heat (no challenge grill);

That's about it.

This a good thread, most of the things that irked me I have fixed with my CS upgrade, even things like not being able to raise and lower the roof while moving used to irk me but now I've solved that too. The things that still irritate me are:
1)Cant drop roof from remote
2)As others have said you have to practically be on top of the car before the remote works
3)The door locking mechanisms irritate the shiit out of me - no seriously, I'm gonna kill someone.
4) Standard keys are cheap
5) Interior clock - seriously Enzo, WTF ????

Off the top of my head thats about it as like I said all the other gripes like crap dash, interior build quality etc have all been rectified. She's a good ol' girl really.

 

Lack of torque down low. Another 50lb ft would be perfect.

 

can't take wife out in it - she hates the ride. I think I should have gotten a regular 360 or 430. This racing version is too hard core for wife.

 

I could nit-pick and list a number of issues but the biggest one for me is the poor headlamps. Mine have the usual murky interior which looks bad but my real gripe is that they just don't throw out a beam the way a modern car should.

I think the brakes (in standard trim) could be quite a bit better too.
