I sold my Mondial t Coupe for £18,000 and will soon be in the market for something else.

At the moment I have an Elise S2 which is superb, but my neighbour wants to buy it from me so I will be looking for another Ferrari.

I will be looking at spending under £25k, so I guess that means a 308GT4, or a 308GTB or if I'm very lucky a 328 (saw one for £23,500 last week)

I don't really want another Mondial, nothing against them just want to try something else. I'm leaning towards a 308 but for the money I have would I be better off looking at the GT4, as they are cheaper?

What's the entry price for a 308GTB/GTS in good condition?

I'd be very doubtful you'll find a decent 328 for under £25K now. Ferrari prices in the UK for this era of cars have been climbing pretty quickly recently and they're starting off @ £30K these days for an average condition car.

308 GTB's are kicking off at @ £24K~£25K so you would already be at the top end of your budget.

308 GTS' are starting at @ £27K so are already over budget.

You can find the occasional 308/328 for less but these tend to be cars described as: "usable but could do with some TLC", and I'm sure you know what that can mean on a Ferrari.

(There is a 308 GTS on Autotrader for £22K at the moment but the advert doesn't fill Me with confidence for some reason).

308 GT4's are cheaper and within your budget but they are a bit of a Marmite car and you may feel that you compromised too much on what you really wanted. (No disrespect to any 308 GT4 owners on here BTW!).

Interestingly, the later 348's are now starting off @ £19K~£22K so you could get a decent one for your budget but the service prices are slightly higher than for the 308/328 series.

(It doesn't seem that many months ago 308's were kicking off at @ £16K and 328's at @ £23K)

    Thanks for the advice.

I like the 348 and have noticed that they are relatively cheap. I'll have a look at a few and see what's out there. There always seem to be a few for sale here in the UK.
