I think that might be the modified 250 Lusso that was raced in England by Mc....... a few years back, then sold to Don Nelson, then auctioned maybe 3 years ago. It was track tested in one of the classic magazines and used to be painted BRG. It was a quick car. But maybe I'm wrong...

    It's a standard 250 GT/Lusso modified for race in 70's in UK.

    I can't remember the s/n (in the 5xxxGT range)

I really like the look of it.

The grill opening and the smaller openings are much more rounded around the edges kindof like the grill opening on an xke though.

I like the look but it does not look like the openings on a gto for example.

This car carries styling cues from the 330 LMBs and the 250 GTO bodied as an LMB (4713)

The "gills" in the fenders look very nice. It is a more race oriented look than the 250 lusso with gto nose we were discussing recently.

    I really like it.

Yes, I believe this is Mike McQuakers old car which was dark green when he raced in FOC events in England. Sold many years ago by Bob Houghton for not a lot of money and ended up in USA. Very highly modified and quick car.

It looks really good in the BRG too.

I like the specifications of it too.

Can't understand why this is not Cavallino legal......would be worth the price of admission to see. And I understand the car is in Florida, the same owner as the gentleman that has on ongoing conversation with the IRS.

It's no longer owned by Walter.

When last raced in period, and when owned by Walter, 0844 was a 330 Can Am. It's currently bodied as a 412P. Walter's other P car, 0858 last raced in period as a 350 Can Am. He still owns it and it's still a 350 Can Am.
