Hi, According to all soruces the front shocks on the 348 should be Koni, but when I checked mine for replacement I have Bilstein fitted. My car is a 358 TS 1994 right hand drive UK car. What are fitted to your car? Can I switch to the Koni?
Koni's for the Challenge, Speciale, and Competizione as I understand it. Bilsteins for the other 348 models.
328 models changed from Koni to Bilstein, soon after the revised 88.5 convex wheel series came out, but some 88.5 have koni shocks fitted into the anti dive suspension, although I've only ever seen a few cars, most convex wheel cars have Bilstein. ( I also prefer the way the Koni 88.5 cars drive, the Bilstein cars seem to be a little pitchy/choppy in comparison) I've never seen a 348 with Koni. 355C use Bilstein, 360C use Sachs.
