What fuel hoses get replaced in a 308QV?

    I will have the car in the shop next week and want to replace the fuel hoses. I checked with Ferrari of UK, and they said to replace the two fuel lines in th engine compartment (117787 & 117885) that are located near the fuel distributor. Shouldn't I also replace the fuel hoses underneath the car that connect the two gas tanks? I believe that this hose is a rather large and thick (1-2 inches wide) braided hose. Please feel free to tell me what fuel hoses need to be replaced. I do not want to miss any of them, and I want to place just one order with Ferrari of UK. Thanks.

    I do not have a QV, but for my GT4, I replaced every last one. Every one of them.

    Ken,

    Agree with Ferrari UK replace the two fuel lines in the engine compartment (117787 & 117885) and you are right about the connecting tube. This was done during the recent 60k service. i'd check ALL oil and fuel lines actually, though i tend to be extremely cautious and feel when in doubt, replace. These items, if original, are decades old.

    Don't forget about the one connecting the fuel filler tube to the tank

    Does anyone have an after market source for the 2 hoses that connect the cross over pipe to the bottom ot the fuel tanks for a 308? I really don't want to pay the $57 each.

    Never mind, I just found a parts house that had filler hose and got more than I need for less than 90 cents an inch. That beats the heck out of the more than $5 an inch the dealer wanted.
