Hi all, Saw this car for sale with a set of Goodyear tyres on it. Question: What model of tyre is it and more importantly are they still available for 328 sizing or are they the old, original tyre still on the car ? Ferrari 328 GTS | All in one Exclusive Cheers
Goodyear Eagles were originally fitted (as mentioned in your owners manual) - in the UK there's a current equivalent (Efficient Grip) from them in the correct sizes
In France, the most modern equivalent would be the Goddyear Eagle NCT 5, but it is not available for the rears in the correct size (225 / 50 /16 92v) only for the fronts (205/55/16 91v). Rgds
Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance is available in Europe and most good year importers for the rears, 225/50/16 - 91/92V/W ratings. Got them in 205/55's too. Had to replace my 8 years old Pirelli - PZero's
So the tyres on the linked for sale car are the new Efficient Grip model or the original over 25 years old?
I thought that, but since the seller talks about all original paint (which clearly it isn't) I thought they would have mentioned original tyres in their list of features... even though it can be seen as a determent.
Goodyear still makes an entire series of "EAGLE F1" tires. Now whether they make the proper size for a 328 is the question. Check out the Tire Rack web site (no affiliation) using the Tires by Brand search.
