What happended to Super Size?

Probably action that has stemmed from that movie..."Supersize me"

 

I read about this several months ago. All the fast food chains are getting away from super size menus because of the American publics new "health concerns for obesity". You notice alot of restaurants offering low fat this and that.

 

It's now called a McDrum of Coke...

 

it really is lame. people should live how they want to live. if they get fat and die from eating super sized frys, then thats up to them.

i watched that supersize me movie, and it just made me hungry

I don't get how people blame resturants for their weight problems. It really makes me angry that people don't take responsibility for their own actions. Just becaause there is a supersize dosen't mean that you need to order it. Oh well, I guess that is life.

As a matter of fact, I just got a bucket of fries at McDonalds today. They were damn good.
Must be a local thing ...

 

I was told by my local McDonalds a few months ago that the Supersize was still available but you had to ask for it; it was not on any menu board. Here's their latest item:

 

McDonald's no longer offers the super size option...?

Something is seriously wrong with this country...

 

I really dont like to eat Mcdonalds more than once a month unless absoloutely necessary. I like their food its good, but i just feel really sick and dirty after eating it. This goes away in like an hour but its just uncomfortable and awkward. so this isnt really a big loss for me

What drives me M*F*ing insane is that if you walk into starbucks or some other trendier-than-thou coffe place, they dont have a small, medium, large. It's tall, grande, and whatever-the-f*-else. This isnt so bad itself, but when you say to the guy who is taking who's taking your order (he only works there because he is taking "time off" from pursuing a masters in psychology), "just gimme the small one" he will inevitably say, "we have tall, grande..."

 

Tell it like it is......the Whiney Entitlement Brigade gets on my nerves, too !

 

same here, except the last few times i've had it it hasn't even tasted good, just bland.

then afterwards i just feel like taking a supersize McDump.

in australia we have the Yiros/Kebab/Souvlaki available near all the trendy night hotspots. lamb, lettuce, tomato, onion, drowned in garlic sauce and wrapped in pita bread. frankly, despite how great it tastes (especially when off-ya-nut) i can't think of anything healthier you could want to eat, drunk or sober.

mmm, i know what i'm having for dinner....
