Over the years that I have lived in Chattanooga, it has been rare to see many (if any) nice exotic cars. Something must have happened in the spring of 06..... because they have all come out of the wood work. In the last 3 weeks, I've spotted

2 Fort GT 40's (one white w/ blue stripe + one blue w/ orange) ..apparently a third one somewhere in town
2 Maserati's (Both silver - one Coupe & one Quattroporte)
1 Lamborghini (yellow Gallardo) ...apparently a second Lamborghini somewhere in town...possibly a Murcielago.

This is seriously odd for little old Chattanooga, TN. So...where are the Ferrari's??

    Todays find via cell phone....

Saw a Bentley GT at the Chattanooga airport. It's not that rare of a car but I was very impressed to see it. Chattanooga is moving up in the world.

Yeah Chattanooga is really starting to boom. I just went and looked the Gulf GT. Here's a run down of exotics that have popped up recently here

    1Bentley GT
    2 Ford GT's
    2 Lambo Gallardos
    2 Lambo Murcies
2 F430's (my buddy has seen these I have not yet)
    3 Maserati Coupe
1 Maserati Quattroporte (haven't seen this either)

Several of those Lambo's are owned by the same guy. I know for sure that he has at least one gallardo and one Murcielago.

That Ford GT must have been commuting back from the GA Tech show. I can't imagine there are that many Ford GT's out there in the old Gulf colors.

I'm from Chattanooga (Red Bank class of '88) and my dad still lives there. He has told me about the Lamborghinis; he sees both of them around Hamilton Place and has talked to the guy/girl that own them...a married couple. I think the Gallardo is hers. My dad's all about hob-nobbin' (and believe me, that's what it is with him), so I try not to listen too hard. But I can't help but get excited about talk of ANY Italian car.

Meanwhile, a Chrysler dealer in Ft. Oglethorpe has a '92 Diablo for sale for $98k. I don't know...what's happened to my "darlin' hometown"? (which is a great song from John Prine's new CD).

Not at the moment, but maybe next February. Local dealer has had a Grey/gold STi sitting for a bit. It could use a happy home! I see you checked my profile..... and yes, I do love my Subies :) And finally adding a Triumph motorcycle to my garage next Wednesday!

I had a friend call me from there a little while back. He was sitting behind a 365/C at a stop light.

I am in. Just let me know the date/time. Hey Rich how are you? It has been a long time.

I have 4 Ferraris now but I will have to sell one soon. Too much to keep up with sometimes.

Most Saturdays are good for me, but I'm booked for the next 2 weekends. I'll be at Road Atlanta for the Mitty and then I'm in Nashville the following. How about the 13th or the 14th?

I was out on Hwy 58 on Monday and a red w/ white stripe Ford GT went by going the other direction. It sounded sweet!

Yeah the green and yellow Gallardos were traded in for the green Murci Roadster. I have also seen a black Roadster, but I am not sure if it was owned by the same couple. I am assuming it is because they were rqcing in both Murcis down Gunbarrel in front of Office Depot and Smokey Bones.
