I spoke with Troy on a number of occasions and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful. His products came highly recommended and have proved to be excellent. Hopefully all will work out well for him.
Agree. Nice guy and very knowledgeable. He manufactured great products with exceptional build quality.
When I was looking for Hi Flow CAT's, he was my first choice. Problem was he was out of stock and a long lead time to get back in stock and he also did not guarantee no CEL. Evoflow was also out of stock but took a couple weeks to produce and Evoflow does guarantee no CEL which I have not had (yet). The flange mounting holes where too small and had to be drilled out - hopefully they corrected the issue. I paid $1300ish or a set compared to $2200ish so it was a good value for a good product. I've done business with GTO Engineering and they seem like great guys - planning to visit them my next trip to SoCal.
There's a guy in AZ with a set of fixtures for 5.2 cars. Cats, test pipes, cat less y-pipes.... PM me and I can pass along his contact info.
+1 I had them on my 348 and thought they were wonderful. Exhaust components in the Ferrari world are a difficult market segment for a variety of reasons -- some technical, some legislative, and some supply-chain based.
Ditto. Sorry to hear the news. I met Troy some years ago and had a great conversation with him. Very nice guy.
LOL really. best performing cats I have are $150 cheapies from china Think I have 2 more sets that I need to put flanges on
I'm blind in 1 eye cant weld that good anymore LOL Any donkey with a mig can weld them I'll have someone cut some flanges and do a few dozen. They are metal cores and did 30% less emission then my hyperflos and another hi flo cat I have, cant remember the name. Cats are one of the biggest make ups I ever seen China does not have the EPA laws so they use a more serious, non EPA wash to coat them. One of the chemists at heraeus metal explained it to me. All the best are from them right now
