I see they no longer are offerring shock rebuilding services...what a disappointment. http://www.deltavee.net/ I have not needed them, but was nice to know they were there and ready.
He told me today that it wasn't generating the kind of response/revenues he was expecting... most owners buy new when they need their shocks replaced. My set was the next-to-last set he rebuilt... DF
But it still doesn't make sense to stop offering the service. Some revenue is better than none, and it shouldn't cost anything to be willing to do the work. Unless the shop was open solely for that reason.
Thanks for your support gentlemen, unfortunately the market always prevails; just not enough volume to justify the time and resource commitment it takes to satisfy a customer. I will retain all tooling and will support any and all previous clients (just did a Mondial T repair for the second owner of my system), just call or email for details. I am consulting which requires a great deal of travel. It's not fair to continue to advertise a service that I can no longer ensure quick turn-around times, so am no longer soliciting new shock rebuild work. Rob Lay has my most sincere thanks and appreciation for founding and supporting such a fantastic community; not giving up, just rolling with it and moving forward. Best, Rob
