What happened to the Miura?

whose miura was it? that would be two miuras in two months. if this is true, it is very sad. they are beautiful cars.

 

yikes!!!!! if it is the same car as the car pictured on the cover of texas driver, i know the owner. is this true?

 

That is what we were told at the event... but if you know the owner, you'd be the better to verify.
And I agree on the Miura... its my favorite Lambo.

 

I have the car. The car was not squashed when I transported it to and from Monterrey. It got a minor scratch in one area from a tie down. This is in the process of being taken care of.

The other problem was that the cover had somehow managed to break the Lamborghini emblem on the back. The cover snagged the emblem. This was not such a bad thing, because it was not the correct factory item to begin with. The previous owner wanted the modern Lamborghini emblem. I now have the original Lamborghini emblem, that is supposed to be with the car.

Thanks for the update Ralph, that doesn't sound bad at all. I was looking for you when I got out there. Even Mike & Luigi made the trip up here for the day. Maybe you can make it to the event next month for the Lambo of Dallas event in Cresson, TX (MSR).

 

What happened to the Houston Miura that may have been in an impound lot?

 

The owner was released from the grey bar hotel & I guess got his car impound a couple days later. But that's something way completely different.
