What has Ferrari changed about your order??

    I am just trying to prepare myself for my new baby due in a couple of weeks and I have heard stories from the dealer and here regarding changes or additional options added at the factory without telling the buyer? For instance, there was a thread a while back where Ferrari put different color seatbelts on to better contrast the interior colors?? The owner showed pics and was happy with the change so all is well but what if he wasn't?

    Sorry but I had to edit.... I just can't get the numbers 4 5 8 out of my head and I looked at my post and it was 4 8 5.... Everywhere I go I see 4 5 8 somehow.... (Yes, This is my first child, the Maserati was simply my pet).....

    On my 2011 458, I ordered all of the interior carbon fiber pieces except the steering wheel.
    It came with the steering wheel trim in carbon fiber (along with all the other cf parts which included the cf center console, dash trim, dash air vents, door side trim, door sills, and rear side panel trim).

    It could have been my misunderstanding of the order options, but my hunch is they thought it must have been an oversight in the interior trim spec's for where I wanted the carbon fiber.

    Turns out, I love having the carbon fiber steering wheel trim, so, no regrets.
    Sometimes, the factory knows better. :)

    So I am sure you still had to pay for it or did the dealer say mea culpa... My dealer says the car comes the way it does and that is the cost of admission.....
    Maybe the'll put the rear segment in CF for.... I opted for the CRPK package and door sills in CF. Did not get the sides in CF but wouldn't mind if it came that way....

    It was about 5 months from the time I first ordered the car to when it arrived at the dealer.
    So, I don't remember exactly what the total price of my options were vs. the final window sticker I paid for.
    But I did pay full MSRP for whatever options were on the window sticker, which would have included the cf trim on the steering wheel.
    I was more than happy with the final result, so I didn't spend any time trying to prove the difference in spec's.
    And the total cost was in the ball park of what I thought it was suppose to be.
