Yeah, that's not fun, but it's nothing compared to other atrocities committed every day by governments across the world. Real-deal, unshrouded "life" can be very, very harsh. And for God's sake, please don't look at the Rabbit / PETA thread in the Off-Topic forum. But if you really, really want to be reminded of what animal cruelty is in the present day... then have at it.

In the end, it is a sad fact that you must acknowledge that what happened to those test pigs was a fate that also fell to a great many thousand Japanese human beings. (Including some Japanese pigs, just to be fair.)

BTW, for the folks left clueless, there is more physics in the research of the atomic bomb than there is any other scientific discipline (this should be obvious).
