I continued to let it sit quietly and comfortably in the storage garage while I await the regularly-espoused huge spike in prices so I can make a ton of money. ;)

That's 100% stock for you! These cars are really softly sprung by modern standards, but so well balanced. By the last run I started to get a feel for how it handled, steering on the throttle beautifully. A little lift and the front end tucked in nicely, and powering early caused a little push, meaning I could turn in way before the cone and let the throttle carry me through. Loved it!

    This link might work better.

I lubed the accelerator pedal components as well as the linkages at the plenum end. Works a lot better now, as accelerator got a little stuck whilst driving in the city last week, or should I say took a little longer to come back to its resting position.

I had a filter vent installed on my transmission vent breather, but this didnt work well, so put the car on the hoist, rear wheel and wheel arch out and some hose installed. With a Gt4 you can run this up between the oil cooler vent hose and chassis frame and then back down through a hole to the rear chassis.

I snapped a bolt on a rear exhaust hanger and need to get that out (pita). Meantime to make C+C I installed this nasty strap just to support that side of the muffler. Ugly but it worked.

I have a set of Cromadora's (not on the car) which have old and incorrect cavalino badges on the hubcaps. No longer and now I need to source the correct badges.

That thing is fabulous looking. A friend of mine is looking for a Euro QV. Did you see any others in your search worth scrutiny?

Thanks guys! There is/was another in NY that came up after I pulled the trigger on this one, I believe he is a member of this forum. It was listed on eBay a couple of times....is a beautiful example.

Finally finished my clutch. I have to teach myself how to drive with this clutch as it feels so different in a good way. Grabs so quick. While I was in there I cleaned everthing to bare aluminum, cleaned the pick ups and replaced the seal. The engine seems run a bit smoother at idle.

Is it worth while to send the old clutch out for resurfacing?

Washed her. She appreciated the tickle of the bubbles :)

and I noticed some small streaks down the side of the door. Nothing there to clean off. Like somebody spilled soda down her. I guess she'll get a waxing next weekend.

Drove the Alps for four days with the 328. Almost 2000 Miles in 4 days, car ran flawless.

Man after 6 years of ownership these cars still provide an ear to ear smile at every drive..

Now that it passed smog test, I pulled the air pump and reset the timing. Took it for cruise and man what a difference. It was the first time I got to really get on it with everything dialed in and I was smiling the whole time.

Finally got it all legal and registered. CA DMV is so much fun.

Had some titanium Hi-locs to mount the plate with.

Put the rear deck lid back on and made some front bumper mounts to push it in.
