Break the other blade off, clean it up with a grinder, reinstall and have a nice day!

You were lucky. In 2005 on my Alfa one fan blade broke on the highway at around 4.500 1/min. I needed one new fan, one new radiator frame, one new radiator, because the flying fan blade beat a 5mm hole into it. A new upper radiator hose, because it was cut. And sheet metal and paint work, becaue it beat a dent into the hood.

    Best from Germany

I would bet there’s a pretty good chance of one of the members here that has upgraded his fans/radiator would sell you his old OEM fan on the cheap?

I've got a couple of unbroken fan blades in a box; let me know if you need one, Patrick.

I did use a few Latin expressions. I'll probably be putting on modern fans, which are far more efficient, but I like to keep all the stuff I pull of the Ferrari stored away in good condition, so that hurts. I'm very close to changing to a new radiator, mounted at an angle to put puller fans on like on a 328. Like I said, mission creep

    Agreed... It’s no looker, granted.

It was more the fact that this groundbreaking car was there in the first place. In this part of the US Veyrons, Chirons, and Paganis are commonplace. (There were three Huayra BC roadsters in the parking lot yesterday!). The real reason I go are the old rare cars I’ve seen in books but never seen in person. The EB110 SS was one such car. The presence of the new De Tomaso was also astounding. I loved seeing a Abarth 131 rally tribute done pretty well. The countach I’ve seen before and is in wonderful condition and who doesn’t love to see a testarossa driving

Not today, but two Saturdays ago - went for a drive with the local Ferrari club. The picnic drive was weather delayed for two weeks in a row, so we decided to go anyway this day - and it poured on us! There were 9 Ferraris on the drive, mine was the red one...

No, not that one, the 308 with BBS wheels in the back! :p

The weather was OK at the start of the drive... Here's my 308 at our destination, about 1 hour drive away. We re-located the picnic back to Calgary...

New battery in the VR. Thank goodness the PO put slightly longer leads in so a standard Group 34 fit right in. I also cleaned up and treated some small sprouts of surface rust in the battery tray. All sweet and tidy now...

Set up my new Quickjack 5000. First order of business. Clean 41-years of oil and @#$!. Work in progress. Next stop. Oil changes.

Somebody somewhere with a Swiss watch is saying, “This watch runs like a Ferrari.” :)

Indeed...a watch that is cranky when not worn and has a personality of its own.

The M3 is not running (not unusual) so the 308 was pressed into duty for my son’s baseball practice tonight
