Obviously a hypothetical question, but curious how things might have played out for the constructors championship. Has anyone done the math and calculated where they would have finished had they retained their points?

Ferrari would have won by one point assuming the Spy points hadn't been deducted from Mclaren, but Mclaren would have won if they had had no points deducted (i.e. retained the points from Hungary that were separately deducted).

What do you need? Ferrari finished with 204 points; McLaren should have finished with 218 points.

Aside from this, it would have impacted the DC - the CC can balance out some of the team dynamics,
so in that regards, the FIA decision was unfortunate.

McLaren would have finished with 218 points, IF they had not lost the 15 constructor's points for Hungary. Those 15 points were forfeit due to the pit lane fiasco. A little severe, IMHO. Of course, if they had not already lost the points for that , they would have lost the Same 15 points for running hardware without FIA approval -- that is the usual penalty for such an infraction. Since they had already lost them for the pit lane penalty, they were fined instead for the hardware issue.
Ferrari 204, McLaren 203. At least until November 15.
