What am I Thankful for this year? FerrariChat.com Oh yeah, and this little thing I brought home Wednesday afternoon thanks to all the help from the great people on this board: Thanks to everyone. Some say owning a Ferrari is like being head over heels in love with a nymphomaniac supermodel whose addicted to heroin and crack. I believe it. I just hope the highs grossly outnumber the lows, lest I be the one in rehab. Cheers! Looks great! The highs will defiantly out weigh the low's........find a tunnel, hit the gas, and you will know what I mean.
welcome aboard! Sure there's 'issues' that come up, but that's all part of the custodial relationship. We don't 'own' these cars...we take care of them for the next owner, be it 5 or 50 yrs from now. Now drive away and enjoy!
"Owning a Ferrari is like being head over heels in love with a nymphomaniac supermodel whose addicted to heroin and crack" Awesome quote.
I picked up the euro markers from a fellow F-chatter a couple weeks ago. Gotta go clear on Nero. Thanks to all... it's been a blast just giving demo rides to friends. Their reactions sum up my own, "my face hurts from smiling so much", "its like a carnival ride, only better", "can you sample that sound? I want it for my ringtone", "you have a cigarette?", and "what Porsche?"
It's my friend's new C6 - which I haven't actually rode in yet. I can tell you the Vette pulls much harder, but I get all the attraction from people. I can only compare it to my 996 and M3; its very similar feel to the former, different beast from the latter. Biggest thing I notice is the need to activate Sport to keep rebound controlled under hard cornering and the steering ratio could be tighter with heavier feel. A big boy like me needs to consider shoe selection carefully too. Overall though, a complete blast to drive.
....... who told you???? I am currently working on an 'in-car' hair gel dispenser....!!! That way I don't have to go home every hour to re-apply.... !!!
LOL, I recall that sentence too. Sure, but now you drive 355, which is gladly without any psychoactive sideeffects. Enjoy your ride in AZ! (good place) cheers, cinque
Thanks Robert. Bypass rattle has got to go. I read that wiring open can cure it, but will throw a CEL. Any ideas? I'll have it back in the valley within a week or so.
I think most 355's have three temp probes, two for the cats and one just behind the bypass valve. If your car has only two probes then setting the bypass valve to open will not throw a cel. I seem to remember that your car has only two. Robert
