I'm sure everyone has seen the yellow 206 for sale on ebay for $139k. This is the first 206 that I have seen for sale since I've been looking for a dino. Just curious, what would this be worth if it was not a targa? It must not be worth the minimum bid amount as a targa, as I have seen it for sale a few times.

If you go to Anamera.com, there are three Dino 206GT cars for sale. The purple one would be a reasonable guide for a good Ferrari Dino 206GT. Send the dealer an e-mail and get the price.

My personal take is that a 206GT is highly valued for many of the same reasons an early 365 GT4 BB is valued over a regular boxer. The production numbers are smaller, the bodies are all aluminum, the outside filler cap and wood steering wheel are distinctly 60's Ferrari and the other subtle differences are appreciated by their owners.

I would pay more for a 206GT than an early "L" series 246GT so I would assume prices are equal to or higher than a GTS. Of course, the condition of the car as well as the existence of tools, books and other accessories dramatically impact the price.

Best of luck with your search....Keith

I sat and thoroughly inspected the yellow 206 for sale here in Vegas. It is a nice original unrestored car, but man is that thing uncomfortable. The steering wheel and pedals feel like they are way up in the air. The 308 is a giant leap in creature comforts after sitting in that Dino. Sure is pretty though.

I would be more worried about the t-tops that have been cut into it hurting the structural integrity of the car.... Original?

If that 206 can be classified as original, so can Pamela Anderson.

Not original (the 206 was never made as a targa), but done very well with a lot of structural reinforcements throught the body.
