    It is an extraordinary car which its main purpose in designing and making is dedicated to performance, nothing but performance... not to compromise for anything, not for comfort, not for marketing or sale, but to performance....

    I read an article yesterday in a 1978 Australian car magazine that was a comparison of "supercars" between the Boxer, Countach and Porsche TT. So I guess those writers considered those three cars "supercars" back in the late 70s.

    "Supercar" - Over 200 mph top speed (15-20 years ago over 180mph), expensive, exclusive, and (very) limited production.

    Extreme looks...could either be beautiful or ugly. Depends on the eye of the beholder.

    This is what I consider a supercar now;

    0-60 mph in under 4.0 seconds
    1/4 mile in under 12.0 seconds
    Top speed of or over 200 mph

    Limited production is a plus aswell.
