Just out of interest the tax isn't lower because the car is more efficient it is lower because the CO2 output is lower - big efficient engine could produce a higher 'weight' of CO2 than a small inefficient one - in effect it is a tax that rises if your engine is large - it's a tax against Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo etc. We should rise up against our oppressive government and strike at the ........ it's a tax :(

    Hi robinh

Luckily here in Australia, we don’t have such ridiculous taxes… or maybe we do, just disguised as something else?

‘Robinh’ not Robin Hood is it? I must agree with you, that’s a stupid tax, I can see what they were trying to do, but why should you pay extra taxes when someone in say, India is driving a car pumping out 100 times more CO2 and what ever else ‘cause their Government doesn’t care… anyway I don’t want to start a flame, so I stop there.

No, can't be Robin Hood, I checked your profile, you’re not from Nottinghamshire, where The Sherwood Forest is although Cambridgeshire sounds pretty close. How’s the weather in the UK at the moment? Thanks for passing on the info, crazy tax! But the disc does look interesting!
