"Umm... That's not exactly correct. The hiccup is the WUR, for whatever reason it's a hit and miss on which one ferrari sourced." Thanks, didn't realize they randomly sourced the WUR. Obviously the guy who had 400+HP from his 3x8/supercharger must have had the good WUR since he specifically commented that no change was made for fueling. Or maybe he did change the WUR but didn't really consider it to be modifying the Kjet, per se.
I gave up on the carb Idea, $3000 - $4000 for the parts, not a great idea, since the Digplexes and the K-Jet were completely rusted out and resisted all heroic efforts to repair them, I ended up with a modified Dodge 318 distributor with a centrifugal and vacuum advance, and a Pertronix grafted on to the rear bank, to replace the digiplexes, and a Holley Commander 950 ECU to replace the rusted out CIS, and a set of 8 Mustang 24 lb squirters. so far spent about $1k. a week of tuning and it's starting to run pretty good on a narrow band O2 sensor. will install the WB O2 after fuel mapping is done. Yea the carbs are fun to play with sometimes but getting them synchronized and keeping them that way, sounds like a lot of work. An ECU not easy to tune either, but I am getting the hang of it. I was just looking at a 365 GT/C V12, six side draft Webers, 12 carb paths to synch.... I will skip the 4 carb setup for now
Sounds like you did a great job in getting the ignition and induction to at least 20 years newer tech... nicely done! It was fun following this thread and reading the various perspectives and recommendations.
