I am getting some intermittent CEL codes that suggest a problem with one O2 sensor. Advance Auto shows this as being the correct part. Just wanted to make sure before I run out to buy it. Was trying to find something local I don't have to wait to have shipped. I searched the threads here and saw a few conflicting part numbers. Is this the correct part?

Buy Bosch Premium Oxygen Sensor with OE SmartLink™ 15727 at Advance Auto Parts

Alright, picked up the Bosch 15727 universal sensor on the way home. Looks like a match in size but the sensor tip design is different. Does this make any difference? Any harm in trying it out?

Also, when replacing a bad sensor with a different brand or type, should I replace both? In other words, could different brand sensors be sending slightly different signals to the ecu for the same exhaust gas concentration, thus causing one bank to run richer or leaner than the other?

I was previously running Standard automotive O2 sensors and then replaced one side with Walker. I was getting some weird behaviors and now have Walkers on both sides. I wouldn't recommend the Standard Automotive after using the Walker.
