Hello experts, what is the error C2027 KUP2 and how to fix it? Observed on a F430 and it's something related to E-diff (E-diff light on) and CAN messaging/missing some CAN message. But what is it exactly, what could be causing it? Any other thoughts? Any help appreciated! Thanks
Not sure what a c2027 is but a c2017 is a stuck or faulty Ediff solenoid Try a simple Ediff bleed first using a diag tool like a launch mini etc Monitor the locking pressures as you drive ..they should go from 0 to 15 bar as you change speeds turn etc ..this is live data on the "differential" menu Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
Q. Are you sure you didn't observe C6027 and not C2027 ? (typo?) KUP2 ( C6027 ) : There is a problem in the reception of the KUP2 CAN message: signals timeout, signals out of range or invalid data. This is typically caused by problems with CAN H and L transmission. Check CAN wiring. Good luck identifying the issue with the CAN Bus wiring. The E-Diff CAN is connected to 10 other devices. The signal going from the E-Diff ECU to the OBD port alone goes through 13 splices and 5 connectors. Do we know if "KUP2" is related to a particular device?
If I get time I'll post up details of my engineers way of doing it, this requires my decoded list of CAN messages and their origin's which is unique per model and setup of car (F1, gated, etc.). From this using a USB CAN bus sniffer and my custom software it can show you precisely what's going on, what ecu's are missing or not and much more... Gives you immediate confidence of what's going on instantly.
