Junior Vs. Jay Golf Cart Race - YouTube
I'm not for redistributing the wealth, but it is becoming a very boring sport to watch, even if you are a Red Bull fan. I personally don't care who wins the WDC/WCC, but I don't like watching a train every race with little overtaking and no battles for the lead. The future will be Red Bull Ferrari McLaren Mercedes (if they keep the team going). Its sure going to be fun watching 8 cars in convoy style without overtaking. The little teams will soon be budgeted out of F1.
OK, bye..... Enjoy curling or whatever else it may be that floats yer boat.... With all due respect, complete and utter nonsense!.... They've (whoever they may be) been saying that since the dawn of time. You want more overtaking?.... They gave us the abomination that is DRS. You want it close?.... Check the history books - it's never been closer. You want full grids? That's what we've got..... Cheers, Ian
Everyone gripes about the artificiality of DRS, while they long for the good old days. Yet, the truth is that there has never been a great deal of "overtaking" in F1. Why? Because overtaking is SUPPOSED to be difficult. Jacques Villeneuve suggests that we should return to the days where a handful of cars finish MILES apart, while on the other hand we have the sentiment expressed above. Two very contradictory desires. So what will it be . . .
JV said in an interview that F1 is just too fake. I'm not a fan of JV, but he's right word by word. Really sad future for F1, IMO.
For all the money and prestige and all the other nonsense associated with F1, it's just not as entertaining as it should be. Its supposed to be the pinnacle of motorsports, yet they're regulating it to an overpriced go kart race. I don't know, it would just be nice to have some excitement.
Technically the bottom teams DO have their own championship. Last team doesn't get transport money and has to do it themselves. Fair or not? First thought is to say, ''no, of course not...they missed out by a whisker!'' but in actuality, they knew EXACTLY what they where getting into when they signed the deal with F1. The difference between finishing last, 2nd to last and 3rd is quite big monetary wise. So indeed there is a ''separate'' championship.
