Seems like he got his information from a guy he knows that was turned down for a Ferrari dealership... if so, then it's just sour grapes on that guys' part "Ah, no big deal that I got turned down - would've only made maybe $500k a year, anyway."
I used to really enjoy Alejandro / Salomondrin however he is now unwatchable. His content is now really terrible. His videos are basically him running errands and praising who will sell him a car and ragging on who won't. His spewing of insults and rants against Ferrari are so rediculous and rubbish all stemming from the dealerships not liking him. On top of that he is a guy who wants to be a car guy and is trying very hard and buying (?) a lot of expensive cars and ultimately still isn't really a car guy. He can't drive. Doesn't race. He just runs errands in Los Angeles and spews his opinion based off his limited experiences, limited knowledge, and maladjusted opinion.
He must be savvy real estate and movie molgul though for those cars. Not a family money thing I say because where would all the money be from???
I have to agree with your entire post. I first subscribe to his channel right when he was unofficially kicked out of cupgang. So I'm currently kind of shell-shocked. But, if you go around instagram and check out the "old" members of cupgang, you'll see that they all still have the name, including Azzurodino, who during the height of the official news of Salmon being kicked out of the group, he had "Im out!" posted on his account. Now, he has that slogan back on his site again "cars unite people". So I'm thinking theres something wrong with salmon. Im starting to think Josh Cartu was right about something, for salmon to continue to blatantly bash on ferrari for no reason. Here's what cartu said: (I've heard just about enough of this already. You can keep throwing tantrums that Ferrari won't allocate you limited cars or you can look at the facts. 1. Gohm Automotive in Stuttgart, the biggest Ferrari dealer in Europe also sells Lamborghini, Bentley and many other brands. I can assure you that with two Ferrari dealers, (Stuttgart and Ferrari Vienna) they have never been asked to sell their other dealerships and the Vienna store is a recent acquisition. In America, the largest dealer is Ferrari Fort Lauderdale which owns 7 other dealerships including Porsche, Volvo, Maserati, and many others, most of which are in NY. I'll go further to say that the 918 spider you're driving (probably not even your car... similar to the huayra you also didn't own) barely brings over list price as seen at the auctions at Pebble. The Mclaren P1 also brings barely over list at least in comparison to all limited ferrari cars. Let's take my 458aperta for example: paid 250k euro... worth today 700k euro. My f12tdf paid 380k euro, worth today nearly 1m euro. Ferrari LaFerrari, paid 1.8m euro, worth what, 4m euro? I'll tell you what the FXXK Ferrari is doing... choosing it's limited clients well (not you) and building the best super cars in the world with the highest resale. The world has spoken and Ferrari is king. I'll add as well that those of us on Cavalcade (ferrari's closest clients) are extremely happy with the XX programme and have no issue keeping the car in Maranello where it should be... probably the reason you weren't invited to buy one along with the other glaring reason... you don't have the money. Thanks for coming out!) The above may sound harsh, but if you remember his Ford GT video, and how he completely bashed and stated that he would never buy a ford unless his friends get a GT, then a month or so later, He's driving and praising and hyping the GT350 & GT350R to heaven and back. That right there should have been the first sign, in hindsight.
He wouldn't be the person on earth whose parents were born before him, and claim it is not the case. But that is not the point, even if of course, when going public and piling up cars like he does, public (including me) will of course wonders where it comes from. I agree with the analysis above on his videos and cupgang.
Los Angeles is full of posers. People with $2000 car payments living in $1000 apartments. These guys are everywhere. My hunch with Salomondrin is that he is a grand master poser who will eventually sell all the cars and buy a modest house in the valley. Unless he has a dealer license and can write off his cars because he has a YouTube channel/business, I don't see how his constant car trades and purchases can be sustainable.
I think it's a little bit absurd for a LaF to cost near 4M euros. If it's like that, well...how much a pristine Enzo will cost in 2 more years from now? Over 6M euros??
