0 HMO, 60%cash, 40% PPO. I’m just sayin-& you know the truth fbb..we get paid poorly here in comparison. Wait a sec..this was a thread about the current absurdity of SoCal RE, particularly in this moment-which is a complete anomaly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It may not be that absurd. It may be just like $17 burritos, $85 sheets plywood, $200 ski lift tickets. The monthly mortgage on a $750k condo is the cost of a 2 br. Apartment. Buying the condo makes sense even though you could have a 3 bedroom house in other states for 750.
You can have 3bd homes for 1/3rd that in most states.... Have a budy recently that just bought a home and 100 acres for less than my down-payment for a place without a garage. That said, he does live in lutteraly a town less than 1000, so...
Yes that's the problem. 750k is an entry level condo close to beach in SoCal. That's the cost for summer under 85F and winter over 55F, acccess to 3 major airports, and a bunch of other stuff. It is so popular here that we hve 100% traffic 100% of the time.
Prices are momentarily extra absurd bc there is a dearth of homes for sale. As in any other moment in time there are 4-5x as many houses for sale in a given neighborhood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
