    Hi everyone,

seeing Eric from MDs new speciale tail lights below, makes me really like them. My car already has the speciale front, so I'm wondering how hard/expensive converting the rear would be. Anyone know what is involved?

I think it’s simply the removal of the grill portion. I have a question for you. Where did you buy the speciale front spoiler?

If you look closely it isn't simply removing the grill. There are some black trim pieces and the lights are pushed further out.

As far as the front speciale spoiler, I don't know, it came with the car when I got it and it is fiberglass or something that chips. Valence, a sponsor on this board, sells a carbon fiber version which I'm sure can be painted.

Could be. I have nothing to compare mine to. Let me know if you need some close up pics

Yeah, I'd like some especially at an angle so that could show the depth of the various components. Thanks!

Dino has done that to his car. He will know. My car has the rear slats removed. I think you have to remove the rear grill and slats. Then put in a spacer along with different end caps around the lights to bring the lights outwards for a flush fit.

I tam thinking about doing it to my car as well someday. I have rear slats already removed.

Personally, I think it is far easier to replace the entire 348 rear end with a 355 piece. I am not sure where you are going to find stock 348 SS rear end panels. I pray my car never gets rear ended. While you are at it, do the front end with a 355 lower panel as well.
