I am cleaning up my boxes of stuff and found this relay Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login anyone know what it is for? thanks
I thought it might be a Hazard/Turn relay, but it has too many pins. Looks like a fog light relay: https://picclick.co.uk/Alfa-Romeo-Gtv-Spider-916-Fog-Light-254303151544.html
ah... US cars don't have a (rear) fog light relay. What car do you have? On the Euro 456M, the rear fog light relay is here: Image Unavailable, Please Login
On a 550 (Euro) ... Image Unavailable, Please Login .... next to the power steering control module. Part number 171596
car is 2002 575 I do have rear fog and that uses a small black relay It must be a spare for something. but i have never seen such a relay with 8 terminals, the directional only has 7. the F1 has 4
There are other modules using those 9 contact sockets. e.g. the headlight washer timer module, but I couldn't find a photo of this to see if it has 8 pins. On the 575, it's found in the engine bay in "Box H". Those 9 contact sockets can be fitted with a variety of modules, including some with only 4 pins. I would find it hard to believe that they could also be used for washer timers.
