Can anyone confirm the frequency for the 612 key? Is it 433 MHZ? I have an '06 612 and I'd like to see if I can program one of the the $65 replacement keys from China. The laser cut key is listed as 433 MHZ and the 612 is not shown on the compatible list. It lists it for the 458, California, FF and 599. What they show for the 612 (which they also say is for the 599 and 458 - so confusion there) has a standard double cut blank for the metal key portion (still listing it as 433 MHZ) while mine is the laser cut blank. The one that has the laser cut blank is listed for the 458, California, 599 and FF. I am figuring if the frequency and blank are correct, its worth a try at that price. I have access to the software system that states it can reprogram the keys.
