Will that size work on a 456? What a difference- I'm running 295/30-19 and they look small now... Beautiful setup for the Maranello.

Tajaro- Affirmative. One of our FChatters has the Novitecs with the large 355/25 19 tires on the 12.5J X 19 Novitec NF2s on his 456. The Grigio Ingrid car seen multiple times in 456 threads. Need 25 mm spacers on Maranellos, not sure about 456s.

Suprisingly enough, the 355/25 tires are actually a little smaller in diameter than the stock 575 rear 305/30 19 tires.

The 456 with those wheels and tires looks way better than a 612.

    Hello Terry,

Sorry for my late reply. The tires are Bridgestone RE050 came with my F430. I bought another set of Challenge wheels with Michellin PS2 on the F430. The spacers are H%R 15MM each side for 430 wheels on 456 on the rear. No spacers for the front. Here is a photo of the 456 from the rear wheel view to see the offset plus the 15MM spacers.

Alex- Very nice. Those rear spacers look just right.

I like both the 430 wheels and the Challenge wheels on the 430. Come to think of it, the 430 looks great with Novitec NF3s, too, but they are really expensive.

To answer your first question: a picture would help.

I have a set of Tubi tail mufflers and e Stebro X pipe in place of the center muffler.
The car is loud without being annoying at idle and up to 4000 rpm; past 4000 the V 12 wail comes out with full force.

I would love to hear a sound clip of what this combiantion sounds like. I have been contemplating the same type of setup for my 456. Do you think you could post a sound or video clip of the idle and full throttle runs?

Kent, I wish I knew how to do it.
I took the car to a shop with a dyno one day and the sound at WOT was deafening, but it was not real, as it was resonated by the relatively small shop.
I can try to record something from inside the car, but I do not know what may come out of it.

I went from stock to Fabio’s H-Pipe with OE Mufflers. Not too much difference so I added Fabio’s muffler deletes and that was WAY too loud. For reference my other car has a built 434 and headers and the Ferrari was louder and sounded almost like a helicopter type sound. Anyway, I popped back on the resonator and it sounds PERFECT now.

The resonator is not restrictive BTW.

The original sound of the 456 is quite decent. A slight improvement will not do any harm to the original Ferrari concept.
For the GT Capristo has a nice solution replacing the front tubes. For the M the Tubi rear mufflers are best. There are two options. I choose the more decent one. Gives a bit more Ferrari but not to aggressive for a car that does not have an aggressive design.

No I did the deletes he made for me. They sound great with the OEM resonator now back on. It really cleaned up the loud/chopping sound.

Man I want those headers though.

The most important and significant change are the headers.
They change the sound to the higher pitch.

With the headers, the mid section and/or the mufflers change the loudness, but not significant the high pitch sound.

I got a Tubi and am pleased. Just the right sound level for a car of this nature. I also own a nouvalari which is like a possessed banshee out of hell.

Funny you mention helicopter type sound. I just got my car back with the Fabio H-pipe and valve sport mufflers, with valve wide open on ideal I hear that heli sound but once I start moving it goes away and sounds fine. In close valve position from the rear low RPM its a bit louder then stock but not loud enough, I have not had the ability to try it WOT in either setting yet. Still dealing with Torque tube rattle that is not driving me crazy considering how long it was in the shop and still not fixed.
