Due to the fact that the wavy washers that Ferrari uses like to crack I consider them one time use only. I would like to get a 100x of both 6mm and 8mm. Does anybody have a good source for the properly plated washers in bulk?

not sure if they are properly plated, but McMaster Carr crackhouse is always a good source.

    For everything metric.

    Metric Multistandard Components Corp.

If they don't have them, IN BULK, no one will.

Wavy washers, belmont washers, you name it. I have used them for years for bult metric fittings for everything from my Dino to my Bobst Die Cutters at work.

+1 on all the posts. I also have recently started replacing the locking 6mm crown nuts 'cause it just makes everything look so much fresher, also, you're not technically supposed to re-use locking nuts (although I do all the time). Maseratisource is great for those as well as T-Rutland.

Winzer is best, Wurth and McMaster fit loose like they are American sized. They are good at matching other hardware as well.

I would avoid stainless; they are not as springy and they may not stick to a magnet.

I toss those wave washers and use real washers and use new acorn nuts or new nylocks since I can remember seeing those anywhere but on valve covers. Those darn wavy things break and are thin and really provide little to no locking. You got to make sure you get them off clean and in total because those little metal parts can end up in bad places like when the plenum is off. Sometimes they fracture up and I have to use a magnet to get all the little pieces out.
