    regardless of the model, the wrapping procedure allows people to be pretty creative about color schemes, two-tone, accents lines, or replicating older racing designs, onto newer models.

    most of the time, i am not impressed by the poor taste usually displayed. but every so often i like what i see. for example i saw a 612 with the coves and canopy colored differently, like some of the sesanta's, and it looked good. as well, i saw a 599 with different colored canopy that was impressive.

    so, what are some of your favorites?

    Best I've seen, bar none, was on a Griffith 200, when these were new, late 60's.

    It was Plaid. Not sure of pattern but it had a lot of red.

    Thinking it must have been painted, as I don't think wraps were done then.

    I really dig this wrap. It was ballsy, but it worked. It's unique and fun - it definitely makes non-car people do a double take, and even the keenist of Ferraristi will squint and study it for a moment before correctly identifying the model.

    If my memory serves, this car was painted, was some sort of edition/tribute to the Chinese market.

    So I'm wrap-ignorant. I assume wrapping is not permanent? How long does it take to apply? How long does it last? What does it cost?

    We have a place around my neck of the woods that does it, and I'm curious. All the questions I've wanted to ask, but was afraid to do it!! :D
