Curious as to which annual car show has the largest number & widest range of Ferraris in the USA?

Cavallino in Palm Beach, Florida usually surpasses the FCA Annual Meets as far as variety and number of Ferraris consistently.
Put it on your calendar for next January. It is a must at least once!

Absolutely, Cavallino is # 1 hands down. Best quality, great location, amazing variety, plus you have a track event friday, show saturday and another multimark show sunday! What a weekend. The Monterey / Pebble weekend shows are fantastic but not Ferrari specific. And the shows in Europe are similar as Pebble in that they are not 100% Ferrari.

Based on the buzz I have heard that, even in a down economy, this year's FCA show at Road America should be pretty well attended and pretty special (with the track being there).

FCA nationals are never as big as Cavallino except every 10 years when it is held in Monterey for the FCA Pacific Region National meet. Every time it is held it breaks the world record for Ferrari attendance at a single event.

We have local shows in NorCal that are bigger than most FCA Nationals.

Road America will be fun and I will be there but I do not expect it to be a large show by our local standards.

Has to be Monterey in August - one week and weekend, Concourso Italiano, the Quail, the new event at Blackhourse (I forget the name), Pebble Beach, Laguna Seca....... Obviously not all Ferrari's, but there is no way there is a better collection of F cars at one place at one time.

I've been to all the Monterey events and Cavallino without a doubt has more Ferraris than the others.

If you specifically just want to see Ferraris than Cavallino is your ticket but Monterey "week" has the best overall selection and the historics at Laguna Seca are unbelievable.

Nope. Like I said, except for the National Meet years Cavallino has it beat.

I took a look at the May/June Cavallino mag. It lists approximately 200 Ferrari's in attendance at this years Cavallino Classic, which is a great turnout. However, the Concourso Italiano typically has about 900 cars (although after last year it may be down some) with by far the largest turnout being Ferrari's. Assuming 25% of the cars are Ferrari's (a real safe estimate) the Coucourso alone equals if not beats the Cavallino. That plus all the othere events clearly makes Monterey the winner - no contest.

Those numbers are off mate. Cavallino Classic has approximately 400 ferraris in attendance between the track, Jet party, Yacht Hop and Concorso. Its been that way for years. Many people bring their car to one portion of the event and then a different one for another part. If you are on the ground and get to know the participants you will find that most of the tracked Ferraris, and some of the track participants, do not make it to the Concorso and Sunday's brunch. These are 2 different groups, 2 different breeds. I love all of the major automotive events and try not to miss any. Apples and oranges mates!!! Cheers.

I think it depends partially on what kind/era of Ferrari you want to see. Concorso Italiano has had a steadily declining number of vintage Ferraris over the past 5 years (IMHO), but if you want to see dozens and dozens, if not over 100 348s, 355s, 360s, etc., then CI is for you. Cavallino is heavily attended by vintage cars whereas FCA Nationals tend to have a pretty good mix.
