What is the correct torque to use when mounting the head studs into the cast iron 246

    Is this torque setting in the WSM? What is recommended by those who have done it before? (Also posted in the 206/246 Forum.)

    Head, main and any other high torque stud should not be torqued. They need to be installed to the correct height. In so doing they should not be forced, jammed, bottomed out hard etc. Doing so would place stresses that are not accounted for.
