What is the last build date on a 246GT/GTS?

    With all of the interest concerning the number of GT/GTSs remaining in North America, and the survival rate of all 206/246s around the world, I'm curious what the last build date (NOT CHASSIS #) is on the chassis plate that anyone here has seen. My 246GTS chassis plate on 04456 says September 1972. What are the last documented build dates on a GT and on a GTS?

    S/N 08518 July '74 Last Dino 246 built.

    That's from the Dino Register. www.dinoregister.com

    07658, which is the one for sale at Symbolic, has a January '74 build date, according to Bill Noon, so, July is probably pretty accurate for 08518.

    Yes, I had read that on the Dino Register too. But, (and I may be mistaken), it seems to me that the build dates don't necessarily follow the production dates shown on the chassis plates. I guess I should have stated my question a little differently:

    What is the last build date that anyone here has seen (in person) on a 246 GT or GTS, first in the U.S., and second, anywhere else?

    mine is #07772 (fourth last RHD car). Build date on factory heritage certificate is 19.2.74

    mine is 07528 delivered 11 Jan 74 don't know build date

    7714 has a january 74 build date

    8468 has a july 74 build date (i am 99% certain - i will verify when i get home)

    my 74 dino (s/n 08468) has a june build . based on simple math, it is the 25th to last dino made and i have to beleive that it would indicate that july 74 was the last build date of any 246 dino.

    My car is #8514 and I have seen #8512. The build date on the car is July of '74.
