I am wondering what is the lowest delivery miles on a brand new Ferrari you have seen ? My brand new F430 spider was 76 miles because dealer took it to a shop 12 miles away for clear bra before I took delivery !

My F430 had exactly 40 miles on it when I first saw it. One hour after I picked it up, it had 80!

Miles? We don't care about no stinking miles! Drive that sucker like it was meant.

    Why the "!" ?

Should he have flatbedded' it over there for the 12 miles?

Are you claiming dimishied value for that 76 miles prior to your ownership?

Have you been slighted in some way?

Did you want to get a car off the truck with 0 miles and store it away?

    I'm not following your post/complaint/observation.....

#1 a 430 is one of the most incredible cars ever concieved....congrats on having one.

#2 you are very forutunate/comended for the years/decades of hard work, sacrifice to family, commitment to career, love of wife, passion for cars, blood/sweat/tears.....etc that you put into your business or life or whatever that made it possible to be in this greatfull place.

    Yet.... #3..... it's just a car.

We each get about 65-75 years of viable life on average. I'm 38.85 YO.....if I were in a position to take delivery of a brand new 430 spyder, I'd drive the freakin wheels off the thing and never look back and/or be concerned with the miles it came with or anything else..... Just a mid-western/white guilt POV.

Congrats on your good fortune, enjoy the car.

I think there is some misunderstanding ! Which part of my question did you see me complaining or not happy about the mileages? I am just explaining here how I got the initial 76 miles on my car..

#1 I don't care about the mileage on the car ! I have 4 cars and I drove 2000 miles already on my F430 spider in about 2 months since I took delivery back in August !

#2 The reason for this thread is because I heard almost all brand new Ferrari has about 40-50 miles when they leave factory ! Because most of my cars has only 15-20 miles when I took delivery, so I am just curious about what is the lowest delivery miles people had seen on a Ferrari !

No one would expect such a big reaction for just a really simple question. Please don't make things difficult for people who just want to ask question out of curiosity. Thank you to the people who responds to my questions.

I think you should expect at least 40 miles due to the test driving of the factory. If one of the Italians need to drive your car further because his gilrl friend wants to meet away from her house and husband...than maybe you should expect more miles. :)

My 612 had about 135 miles on it when I picked it up in Maranello. My old 456 had around 150 miles when the PDI was done in Florida.

    Guys!
Honestly you would not know... here is why.. a week before I picked up my Scuderia I visited my car at the showroom and it showed 9 km on it. How is that possible especially when the factory would have tested the car for supposedly 40kms. Now get this, on delivery day... my odometer read 1 km. So obviously the true milage on the car cannot be confirmed by just reading off the dial.
    Photo on delivery day...

All of the cars are tested at least 60-80 miles from what I heard, sometimes they get a lot more than that, particularly if they have to work out a particular issue. I have heard from reliable people that if the cars get much over 100 miles, they roll the odometers back to somewhere in the 30-60 range so that the owners don't get upset. The same people said that if you got a car with under 60 delivery miles, you could pretty well count on them having rolled it back. Enjoy them, but I do understand being sensitive to mileage. I know several people who have paid over $100 per mile to drive their cars this year, counting depreciation.

Confirmed. Only able to reset to zero 3 times and only if under a certain mileage. This assured there were no bad shenanigans going on.

my 430 had 56 miles on it off the showroom floor, but now after reading the above posts who knows. I got a brand new engine at 6000 miles anyway so it really doesn't matter much to me.

All cars coem to the US with miles on them. The numb er of miles varies as cars get retested in italy if problems are found. In ten years of delivering them I have seen as many as 175 and as few as 35.
