Why would I ever take it out of race mode?? :)
Why would you take it out of SPORT mode, thats the question! Race mode allows a little slide and ony interferes when it "thinks" u will lose control. That little slide, can be a 30,000$ crash, otherwise the end of ur ferrari.
Isn't that thing called the driver supposed to interfere before that little slide turns into a 30000$ crash?
Each setting changes one or more of the engine management mapping, paddle shift software and suspension firmness.
I am in Race all of the time in the Scuderia except when it is wet (I do dampen the suspension tho, most of the time). Same with my F430 Spider and my 599. Remember the good old days when there was no traction control and we had to control our cars ourselves? Even in Race, the car has significant safeguards. Perhaps it is because I track my cars and have the opportunity to explore their limits, but..... BTW, I never go past Race in either the Scuderia (either full or partial CST off) or the Spider or the 599, so.....
Ditto! I am also always on Race or Wet. Never sport. I also drive in Schumacher suspension mode which can only be activated in Race mode.
