I am interested, what is the most miles you have ever seen on a F-car. Unlike most owners, I would like to drive the piss out of my 355. I also buy cars and keep them for around 8 or 9 years, so I could really see me racking up some miles, plus I have no problem jumping under the hood to do repairs, its just a car, like any other, well maybe not any other. What do you guys think?

The most I saw was 110.000 km or about 75.000 miles on the F355 Spider rentalcar I have once a year in august.
I'm responsible for just 4.000 km or about 2.500 miles.
When I'll have one myself I probably will do about 12.000 km or 7.500 miles a year. If I could, I would take it more often, but then I probably will have to go life in a trailer (mmm, maybe I will :) )

Not a record, but have seen a 328 with 125k and also a Mondial with 100k. Both cars were running flawlessly. i KNOW there are others out there with more.

When I worked at Classic Caoch, we had a customer that used his 308 (a '78 or '79 carbed car) as a daily driver. He was up around 120,000 mi when I last saw the car. I expect that he is STILL driving it and is over 150,000 by now. With that kind of use, it was one of the best running 308's I ever saw - ran smooth and 'quiet' and everything worked.

The most mileage I've seen was on the only Ferrari I've ever driven. It was an 83 308 QV and it had 75k on it. IMO the only downside to putting a lot of mileage on your Fcar is resale, however if you have put a lot of miles on your Fcar then you are a very lucky individual and I'm sure it will be worth the cost.

So I am not wrong by thinking that everyday use will not harm these cars. I am from the same home town as the guy that owns FOA so I can have it serviced by professionals if need be.

What i seem to find universal, at least with the 3x8, is that the more you use it the better she runs. Use the Euro '85 308GTS QV as a daily driver and she is wonderful. Only at 60k now so she has A LOT of life left. Screw resale, enjoy the drive :)

As for the new Avatar, well.... A gentleman never kisses and tells.

    Enjoy the Drive,

Jules is THE man - drives that TR hard too, track days, Virginia City hillclimb, etc. Glad to see he made it over the 200k mark. He must have the highest mileage TR in the world.

It seems to me that if you want to put serious miles on a car, you get a Porsche or BMW

if this is off topic sorry,

when I bought my 348 it had 16 or 19K miles on it when I got rid of it 3 years later it had 29k miles on it, and everyday now I wish I had put 50K in those 3 years, I wish I would of drove it everyday but i was worried about resale, it breaking down(even though I had a warranty), parking it in unlit parking spaces.

If you have a fcar drive it drive it everyday life is short, next ferrari I buy I will put as many miles as I can, I hope to buy a garage queen with 2k miles on it and put 200k on it while I own it. could life get any better!

I was at Steve Harris Imports about 2 months ago. The MM Enzo happened to be there for service, I asked how many miles were on it, and they said 11,000. That was about 2 months ago, I am sure it has a lot more now.
