Definately an unusual color; "1983 ferrari,Mondial,Cabriolet,Verde Tenue with Tan interior.Only a handfull of ferraris were ever made in this unique factory metallic Green color. The car is in absolutely beautiful condition with 22 k original miles. For only $26,500." http://www.gullwingmotorcars.com/inv.php?action=display&autoID=240# BTW Tillman, it looks like your question from '05 has now been answered http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=134798936&postcount=1 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think that was a custom ordered car by a basket ball player who has everything orange. I think it looks good. Wonder what they would say if you wanted to order a car in bright Green like a Lambo?
I believe that is where the orange color came from. That looks just like Lambo Arancio Borealis. Im sure if you paid enough they would give you one in Verde Ithica!
No, this car belongs to someone in Vancouver, Canada. And the color is: Arancio Borealis. Ferrari will do any color you want if your willing to pay for it.
I know 2 ferraris in this color 456gt is in Hamburgo Germany licens plate HH UT 789 an a 355.. of this i do not have more date..maybe in germany..
IIRC, there was some model of fifties or sixties vintage Ferrari, custom painted by the factory for a Hollywood actress color matched to her favorite underwear. Don't know if it's true or not, but it would be 1 of 1. I'm sure there are other cars with 1 of 1 factory paint jobs also.
