I really can't even imagine spending 400 dollars on a T-shirt. Can I ask what is so great about this T-shirt?

so true. Nothing will ever justify it but let me ask you the same question.

Is a 20k watch the same as a 5 dollar watch? They both tell time

Is a Ferrari not the same as a Honda? They both go from point A to B

Its quality and design you pay for. A strong reputation

Yes. However, I can see the differences between a Ferrari and a Dodge, or a FP Journe and a Casio. I don't know what the difference between a 400 dollar T-shirt and a 10 dollar T-shirt. Hence, my question.

Yeah they are pricey, aren't they? DSquare Jeans cost $600 almost, but no one notice the difference!

Hermes tee was pretty high, but I don't remember exactly how much. It was less than $500 though.

Material, cut, hang to your body, hand-made vs machine made, are difference I can think right off a bat. And brand name cost, too. (although DSquare is expensive before it got well-known)
Color & shape doesn't fade/change, and last longer. One of Prada t I have is over 10 years old, but people still compliment it. It is harder to see the difference between $200 & $400 t though, but you can see/feel the difference between $10 & $200 t :)

Probably 20$ . As mentioned earlier , i can see why a Ferrari or a Richard Mille cost more than a Fiat/Swatch. But i will never spend more than 20$ on a Tee shirt. Buying an expensive suit , linen shirts or a cashmere v collared sweat shirt ok , but for a simple tee shirt ? I can see Mrs D&G laughing at my face..
