What is the wait time averaging for a 488GTB in Australia at the moment?

For me, about twenty years.

I was back in the Scotland last month. There, the wait list has gone from a year to more like 3-4 months. There's a lot of new stock for sale with dealers cos people order them to get their Pista or whatever.

 

these waiting lists amuse me, they are "manufactured exclusivity", it's all BS. 3-4 months is the reality (plus 6 weeks for shipping) which is how long you'll wait for 99% of new cars if you want a slightly different colour/trim combination.

In Artarmon, Sydney there is an exotic car dealership that appears to be a clearing house for unsold dealer floorstock or finance company repos. Right now they have a black 488 spider with tiny mileage that you can drive away. Not to mention a slew of almost-new Lambos, Bentleys and Astons.

 

Sydney City Prestige? I wondered about that as they always have new cars in the window

 

Of course if you want a red/crema car with red carpet and shields the wait time is about 3-4 years due to popular demand.

Family visit but after a months worth of rain in a day, didn't hang around. I did stop by the dealer there, and there was no shortage of next to no miles 488s there. I reckon the spiders have a longer wait.

 

FWIW, my production photos arrived on the my ferrari page just as the car arrived at the docks! Hope they have improved things now.
