A friend noticed that there is only one air inlet on the right side of the front air dam on 348s. He asked me its purpose and why there was only one. Having owned an 82 308 and presently owning a 67 330 2+2, I could not answer him. Answers, 348 cousins?

If you look at the diagram here, the air inlet opening in the front air dam on a 348 is for the Air Conditioning condenser. No need for an opening on the other side since there is only one condenser.

Ah. Thanks for the response and the diagram. I always wondered why only 1 inlet too!
