    I disassembled my seats I'm dyeing the seats and I found this part under one of the covers that go over the lower part of the seat where the seat belt bolts on. It's only on one side and I have no clue what it does if anything. It was only on one seat (I think drivers side). Anyone know what this is for?

    It's not the greatest picture. Does it say anything on it? Are there any wires coming out of the tab on top? If so, how many? What's on the bottom? Just a plug?

    It almost looks like a grommet that wires go through but hard to tell from the dim picture.

    Randy, pictures of your seats before the redye ... How you dye them and after pictures. I need to also consider that.
    So how big is that piece ? 1" across or ?
    Also are you certain it came from your car, maybe fell out of the pocket of the PO ?
    If it is a Ferrari part it is probably expensive so hang onto it lol
    ... or you could stare at it, look in endless places like me all over the inside of the car (good for new back pains) and stress about what it is, and where is goes ... like me.

    I will post pics for you for sure. I'm doing the drivers seat next because it's the worst of the 2. I wanted to practice on the better seat first. No wires. No nothing. Just pops into an I oval shaped hole. Does nothing I can see. They must put it there for a reason. I have no clue what it is

    I don't have a Ferrari yet, but it looks a bit like a hold-down for a floor mat. Or not.
