Whens the Mandarin Oriental open? Any rumors on the restaurants options? If I'm not mistaken, it will contain a pretty large retail space for the high-end designers to flock in (I actually thought they would take up Newbury Street and Copley Place).
They have it in the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai on the 1st Floor in a section which is basically a mini recreation of Rodeo Drive. It blows too. No ones ever there. I guess it sucks globally S
I see that the upcoming Regent hotel will have a restaurant run by 3-star Michelin chef Guy Martin of Paris. Boston's getting pretty posh with all the hotels, restaurants, fashion/designer brands, condos, and all that stuff. I wonder if Nobu and a couple of good sushi houses to open up to cater all the media from Japan to cover D-Kice. I've heard rumors of a direct Tokyo-Boston flight coming (does Boston have enough business for such a flight Tokyo?).
That place 'may' have been cool 10+ years ago... Providence is a great idea but parking is something to be desired. My wife and I went to Camilles (sp) recently and it was delicious!
